← Glossary/Decision
Manipulation
Trying to control someone's choice by hiding the truth, using a weakness, or making a false picture seem real.
Example
Someone wants you to buy a ticket, so they hide the extra fee and say it is the only chance even though the event runs every week.
How it fits in
Manipulation removes the information or freedom a fair decision needs. It can involve lies, hidden motives, or exploiting a fear. The result may look like agreement, but the person was not given a genuine chance to choose.
