These Terms of Use govern access to Informative Academy (the Platform), operated by Informative Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202603891C) with its registered office at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051 (Informative, we, us).
1. Who may use the Platform
The learner-account range is ages 11 to 20. Some features, programmes, or jurisdictions apply narrower age, parent or guardian, organisation, eligibility, or consent requirements. A parent or guardian must complete the platform's parental-consent process where it is required. Parents, tutors, facilitators, organisation users, and administrators must use the role assigned to them and only access learners they are authorised to support.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You may not share an account, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, or use another person's link, invitation, or consent record. We may require email verification, App Check, multi-factor authentication, or other proportionate checks.
3. Educational service
The Platform provides educational content, practice, simulations, progress tools, learner-created work, family and tutor support, and related programme features. Content, simulations, scores, AI-assisted output, reports, and guidance are educational only. They are not legal, financial, investment, medical, safeguarding, employment, or other professional advice and must not be treated as a promise of a particular outcome.
4. Acceptable use and safety
You must follow our Acceptable Use rules, age-appropriate instructions, community standards, and any programme rules shown in the Platform. You must not bully, harass, exploit, deceive, harm, unlawfully monitor, or expose another person; upload unlawful or infringing material; seek unauthorised access; disrupt the service; scrape or automate against it without written permission; or use it for spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation.
We may review reports, moderate or remove content, restrict features, preserve relevant evidence, and suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms. Safeguarding and emergency concerns may be referred to an appropriate authority.
5. Learner content
You keep ownership of original content you create. You give Informative a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, display, and adapt that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Platform, provide authorised reports or programme delivery, and meet legal obligations. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that must be retained under a documented legal, safeguarding, dispute, security, or backup obligation.
Do not upload content you do not have permission to use. Do not include unnecessary personal information about yourself or anyone else. Learner privacy and linked-adult visibility are governed by the Privacy Policy and the dedicated child and parent notices linked there.
6. Informative content and intellectual property
The Platform, curriculum, software, visual design, trademarks, and content supplied by Informative or its licensors are protected by intellectual-property law. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use them for the authorised educational purpose. You may not sell, republish, reverse engineer, remove rights notices, or create a competing dataset or service from them except where law expressly permits.
7. AI-assisted features
Some features use artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Apply judgment and ask a trusted adult or qualified professional where appropriate. Do not enter secrets or unnecessary personal information. AI features remain subject to the Privacy Policy, age and consent controls, and any feature-specific notice.
8. Paid services
Prices, billing intervals, trial terms, included features, taxes, renewal, and cancellation terms are shown before purchase. Parent or adult account holders are responsible for authorised charges. A third-party payment provider processes payment details; Informative does not receive a learner's payment-card details. Mandatory consumer rights and any express refund rights shown at purchase are not excluded by these Terms.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where a material Terms change affects continued use, we will publish the new version and require acceptance before protected use continues. The repository-backed approved version is served if the publication configuration is unavailable.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an "as available" basis and implied warranties are excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or limits rights that mandatory consumer law gives you. Subject to those limits, Informative is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Singapore law, without excluding mandatory rights or protections that apply where you live. The Singapore courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. A school, charity, sponsor, or other organisation may also have a separate written agreement with Informative; that agreement controls only where it expressly differs from these Terms.
