Influence Spectrum
A way to sort how someone tries to affect another person's choice, from giving information to taking away a fair choice.
Example
A friend tells you the price of a club without suggesting it. Another friend gives reasons to join but says it is your call. A third says everyone will laugh if you do not join.
How it fits in
The influence spectrum helps you notice both the reason someone gives and whether you can freely say no. Sharing gives information. Persuasion gives honest reasons and leaves choice open. Pressure adds a cost to refusing, while manipulation hides or distorts important details.
