Children's privacy notice
A simple guide for learners under 16.
This page explains what happens with your information when you use Informative Academy.
We try to collect as little as possible, keep the platform safe, and make sure a parent or guardian can help when needed.
What we collect
We keep basic account details like your name, email address, country, and date of birth.
We also save your lesson progress and things you choose to submit so your learning can continue.
Why we use it
We use your information so your account works, your progress is saved, the platform stays safe, and the right adults can help you when needed.
Some information is needed so the platform can work. Some extra details or optional activities can be limited by a parent or guardian.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not show you targeted ads based on your personal information.
We do not use your personal information to train AI models.
Who can see it
You can see your own work.
A linked parent or guardian, approved staff, and the systems that run the platform may also need access so the service works properly and stays safe.
If a parent changes consent
If you are under 16, a parent or guardian needs to activate your account before the full experience opens up.
If a parent or guardian withdraws consent, your account goes back to the consent-required stage until an adult completes the process again.
How long we keep things
We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for learning, safety, and legal record-keeping.
If your linked account is deleted, your learner data is removed through the platform deletion process.
Who can help
You can ask a parent, guardian, or teacher to help you review your account and privacy settings.
