Something two or more unconnected people said or did without being prompted. Praise on its own is not signal.
Example
Jonah gets nineteen compliments on his hot sauce, which tells him little. Four separate customers ask whether he does a milder version. Nobody suggested it to anyone else, so that repeated question is the real signal.
How it fits in
Three tests separate signal from noise: did it repeat across people who never spoke to each other, did they act rather than only speak, and is it about the offer rather than about you. What survives all three is worth acting on. Then make one decision, not three: keep going, change the offer, or change who it is for. Changing several things at once means the next week cannot tell you which change mattered.
