Money In, Money Out
This lesson helps students track where money comes from, where it goes, and what is left. They practise choices in a budget simulation and build a simple Cash Flow Snapshot for their own week.
What you will learn
- Track where your money comes from and where it goes in a normal week.
- Understand the basics of cash flow: money in, money out, and what the balance tells you.
- Practise making choices in a limited budget and see how those choices affect what you have left.
- Create a simple Cash Flow Snapshot to show your money in, money out, and what is left this week.
What happens in this lesson

Chapter 5: Irregular Income, Real Life
Use cash flow skills when income arrives at different times during the month.
What you make: A saved irregular-income cash flow plan showing how the learner would manage a three-week money pattern with gaps, delays, and trade-offs.
