1. Chapter 1: Look Back On The Journey

   Look back on a period of learning and name what specifically changed in how you think or act.

   What you make: A saved look-back note naming three specific things that changed in the student during the learning journey, with evidence for each change.

2. Chapter 2: What Changed In You

   Identify the dots that connected looking backwards and understand why the connection was only visible in hindsight.

   What you make: A saved dots note naming two or three experiences from the student's life that seemed unrelated at the time but now connect in a way that only makes sense looking backwards.

3. Chapter 3: Realign The Compass

   Update your values, priorities, and direction using current evidence.

   What you make: A saved compass-realignment note showing the student's current values, current direction, and current evidence, with any updates from the old compass.

4. Chapter 4: Next Season Plan

   Write a next-season plan naming the direction you are heading, the evidence it is based on, and one specific first step.

   What you make: A saved next-season plan with three sentences: the direction, the evidence, and the first step.

5. Chapter 5: Test Your Compass In A Real Decision

   Apply your updated compass to a realistic decision with trade-offs, evidence, and uncertainty, and justify the choice you would make.

   What you make: A saved decision memo that names one real choice, the evidence for each option, the values at stake, the chosen direction, and what would make you revise it later.
