Chapter 1: Event To Reflection
Learn to turn a raw event into a structured reflection by noticing the gap between what you expected and what happened.
What you make: A saved reflection note describing one recent event, what the student expected to happen, what actually happened, and what the gap between the two revealed.
Chapter 2: Extract The Learning
Learn to extract specific, transferable learning from an experience rather than vague feelings about it.
What you make: A saved extraction note with one specific insight from a recent experience, written in a form that can be applied to a future situation.
Chapter 3: Experience Review
Review a recent experience using the full reflection and extraction method in one pass.
What you make: A saved experience review covering one full experience through the complete method: event, expectation, actual, gap, cause, transferable insight, and action.
Chapter 4: Lessons Learned Memo
Write a short lessons-learned memo that captures the learning from one experience in a form you can use in the future.
What you make: A saved lessons-learned memo with the experience, the insight, the action, and a trigger for when to re-read it.
Chapter 5: Spot The Pattern
Learn to compare several experiences, identify repeated causes, and turn isolated reflections into a pattern you can act on.
What you make: A saved pattern note that names at least two repeated causes across different experiences, the pattern they reveal, and one change to test next.
