Payslip
A payslip is a record showing how an employer worked out the money paid to you.
Example
Maya worked eight hours at $10 an hour. Her record shows $80 earned, $8 subtracted, and $72 paid to her.
How it fits in
A payslip normally shows gross pay, each deduction, and take-home pay for one pay period. Check the hours, rate, labels, and calculation. If something is missing or unfamiliar, ask the employer or payroll contact to explain it.
